Project Description:
The requested funds are for the replacement of the Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System at the Hardy Community Center serving the Aldine Area. The existing facility is located at 11901 W. Hardy Road, Houston, TX 77076 on a 521,000 square foot tract of land owned by the County of Harris.
Project Scope:
The Hardy Community Center project will include the complete demolition of all existing HVAC system and associated components. The replacement system will include a new more efficient, resilient, and sustainable system. Additionally, improvements include HVAC automated controls and upgrading the building's envelope (physical barrier between the conditioned and unconditioned environment of the building).
