Background and Discussion:
During the Depository and Merchant Services RFP, Cadence Bank withdrew their bid for services. We are in process of transitioning to JP Morgan Bank and still in the RFP process for Merchant Services. We will need additional time for the County departments to transition all of their services. OMB requests approval of Extension Agreement for Job No. 160241 & 170025, RFP: - Depository Bank Services for Harris County, Harris County Clerk's Office, Harris County District Clerk's Office and the Harris County Flood Control District & Payment Processing Services and Payment Technology Solutions (Merchant Services) for Harris County.
Expected Impact:
We anticipate due to the lower ECR rate offered by Cadence Bank during the transition that we will need to pay fees to Cadence Bank during the transition period.
