Davis, a nominee from the Commissioner of Precinct 1, to the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number 03 (Main Street/Market Square TIRZ 3) Board, Position 7, for a term ending December 31, 2025.

Background and Discussion:
TIRZ 3 was created in 1995 to promote new investment, general welfare, employment, and economic development in the zone using designated tax increments. The Board of Directors is actively engaged in the implementation of the Project Plan, the development of a financing plan, and in the design and implementation of a redevelopment policy for the area. Since TIRZ 3 is largely within the boundaries of Precinct 1, the commissioner of the precinct may nominate someone for the position as provided in the adopted Boards and Commissions Uniform Board Policies and Procedures, Section 8, D. Appointment Process. Members serving on odd-numbered seats on the board serve terms expiring December 31st of odd-number years.

Appointment to a position assigned to and previously appointed by Precinct 1, which will enable continuity of operations and leadership on the board.
