Background and Discussion:
On April 26, 2024, the Harris County Auditor submitted a Proposed FY2024 Budget Amendment. The amendment was for the addition of three grant-funded positions for the Auditor's Internal Audit Division to provide compliance monitoring for various ARPA funded programs. After considering the Auditor's request and the supporting documentation, the Board found the addition of the three positions is reasonable and necessary to the operations of the Auditor's Office.
The Harris County District Courts Board of Judges approved the request for the amendment and as provided in Texas Local Government Code Section 152.031 ordered the District Clerk to: 1) file this Order in the minutes of the Harris County District Clerks; and 2) certify a copy of this Order to the Harris County Commissioners Court to be recorded in its minutes.
