Background and Discussion:
The purpose of the Preliminary Engineering Report (PER) was to examine potential design alternatives for the Mueschke East Stormwater Detention basin that will add channel and stormwater detention capacity to provide water to surface elevation reduction within the Little Cypress Creek watershed. This basin is one of nine regional stormwater detention basins that are part of the flood risk mitigation strategies of the Little Cypress Creek Frontier Program.

Expected Impact:
The acceptance of this PER will allow the Flood Control District to move into the design engineering stage of this project.
