Background and Discussion:
Harris County Engineering Department (HCED) received a request to manage the study, design and construction of a standard four (4) lane concrete boulevard with curb and gutter on Garth Road from South of Sterling Summer Dr to Ashel Cove Dr.
Expected Impact:
To provide Precinct 3 with professional engineering study, design and construction phase services for the road infrastructure for Garth Road 1 FM 1942 to South of Sterling Summer Dr to Ashbel Cove Dr - 2024. This project is funded by 2022 Bond funds.
Alternative Options:
Without this project, the new road improvements on Garth Road will not be realized as requested by Precinct 3.
