Background and Discussion:
COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted reproductive healthcare, disrupting access to services such as contraceptives, routine screenings, and family planning services due to healthcare shortages and precautions. In response, the Reproductive Healthcare Access Fund (RHAF) project aims to increase outreach, education, and direct utilization of reproductive healthcare services. This objective is achieved through supplemental funding to grassroots organizations that provide direct clinical reproductive health services in targeted areas and/or educate, promote, and connect Harris County community members to reproductive healthcare services within identified target areas.

Expected Impact:
Establish a comprehensive approach towards reproductive healthcare services and educational outreach to underserved populations within Harris County. The subrecipient's plan includes hiring health care providers for direct reproductive clinical services, expanding access to reproductive health services in high priority zip codes, and increase outreach and education of services to the community. This will address STD/STI testing, cervical cancer screenings, fertility assessments, and family planning.
