Background and Discussion:
Harris County Public Health (HCPH) currently has a Data Usage Agreement (DUA) and contract with UTSPH to analyze communicable and non-communicable disease data, including COVID 19 data and other conditions. This analysis seeks to answer questions and guide OESED and HCPH operations as they relate to infectious diseases, Long COVID, Wastewater surveillance program, and creating a model for identifying areas with highest burden of health disparities. UTSPH has provided HCPH with a deeper understanding of our data than we could do alone. Also, at HCPH's request, UTSPH has provided analysis with a health equity lens, consistent with our cornerstone value of Equity.

Expected Impact:
This agreement will allow UTSPH to continue to provide timely analysis for HCPH to make data-driven decisions. It will also benefit HCPH and the Harris County Community as we continue to recover from the COVID 19 pandemic; UTSPH has the ability to provide deep insights into this pandemic that will help us prepare for the next one.

Alternative Options:
There is no alternative option.
