Background and Discussion:
The proposed adjustments will replace / relocate existing CenterPoint Energy facilities that conflict with the Proposed SH225 / SHTE Interchange Construction Project (Project). The adjustments include overhead and major underground electrical facilities.
After completion of the construction services, if the estimated cost is less than the estimated amount, Center Point will refund or credit the difference. If the actual cost of the construction services is more than the estimated cost, Center Point will invoice the difference which would require a future Court action.
Expected Impact:
The Agreement allows CenterPoint Energy to expedite the power lines adjustments, minimizing the risk of construction delays for the Project.
