Background and Discussion:
The purpose of this amendment is to extend the contract term, revise the statement of work and revise the budget by redistributing funds among the budget categories without changing the contract amount. The no cost extension allows for the continuation of program activities and assures that the intended outcomes of this award-including improved health for residents of Harris County, reduced health disparities among underserved populations, improved infrastructure, and a streamlined transition to long-term services are completed.

Expected Impact:
The Immunization Grant Supplements Public Health Services' ability to continue to provide vaccinations and enhance vaccine related reporting in Harris County as it relates to vaccination response activities. The grant is currently scheduled to end on June 30, 2024, but will be extended to June 30, 2025. These additional funds will support activities that are not FEMA reimbursable and reduce public Health's reliance on current funding sources.
