Background and Discussion:
Harris County Precinct 3 proposes to improve drainage systems in the Cypress Place Subdivision by installing approximately 6,720 linear feet of underground storm sewer, increasing the size of driveway culverts, and regrading ditches. Construction will include the installation of manholes, junction boxes, inlets, and completion of associated appurtenances.

Expected Impact:
The expected impact of the project is to improve drainage systems and, consequently, reduced flooding in neighborhood. This project shall benefit 119 persons. Of these persons, 95 persons, or 79.83%, are of low to moderate income and utilizes $1,792,863.00 in 2017 Harvey CDBG-DR Round One Funds.

Alternative Options:
Not approving this project agreement will allow for flooding issues in the area to persist to the detriment of Harris County residents.
