Background and Discussion:
The overall project scope is to restore the tributary channels within the Cypress Creek watershed to their original geometry, so they effectively convey stormwater and function as designed. Harris County Flood Control District is requesting Harris County to dedicate property to maintain this channel, the district must own a property right to do so.

Expected Impact:
With the conveyance of the property, HCFCD will be able to construct the improvement(s) identified in this 2018 bond project.

Alternative Options:
The alternative to obtaining the required property rights is to not proceed with these segments of the project, and the improvement(s) and maintenance remain incomplete.
