Background and Discussion:
The Department of Economic Equity and Opportunity (DEEO) Worker and Community Protection division provides wage rate compliance services for Harris Health projects in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 2258. This Interlocal Agreement is for FY2024-2025, and the period of performance is March 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. The agreement is a renewal and is for eighteen months in order to align the term of the Interlocal agreement with Harris County's Fiscal year.
The amount has been updated from the preceding Interlocal Agreement executed on March 29, 2016, in the amount of $64,678.00. The increased amount has been mutually agreed upon to reflect increases in cost of living and cost of doing business.
