Background and Discussion:
Ernst & Young (EY) and McConnell & Jones LLP (MJ) are working with the Office of County Administration (OCA) and the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC)-which consists of representatives from each Commissioners Court office-to facilitate a countywide strategic planning process. As part of the process, EY and MJ were asked to work with OCA and the SPC to submit three documents as transmittals to Commissioners Court: (1) Harris County Current State Report; (2) Strategic planning process project workplan and management approach; and (3) Strategic planning communications / community engagement plan. These three documents are included as backup under this transmittal.
