Background and Discussion:
The Harris County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) Security Monitoring and Assessment Group (SMAG) works closely
with the Houston Port Authority District and the National Coast Guard to help secure water ways from
hazardous threats. ARES Security Corporations provides maintenance, support, hosting and
enhancements/feature development of the existing ARES Security Corporation Avert C2 - Command Bridge
application.
