Background and Discussion:
Request by the Harris County Clerk Elections Department for approval of an amendment to an agreement between Harris County and KGBTexas Communications to increase the appropriation amount to provide branding, marketing, and strategic communications services using FLEX (1040) as a funding source.
Harris County Clerk Election Department will execute a paid media campaign to educate voters about elections between Primary 2024 and November 2024. Under the direction of Harris County, KGBTexas will plan, support, and execute a strategic and targeted paid media campaign to educate registered voters in Harris County about election basics.
Expected Impact:
Targeted voters will have a clear understanding of how to operate new voting machines, understand the new process for in-person and/or vote-by-mail voting, and will feel confident in the new process and have safe, secure access to voting.
