Background and Discussion:
Harris County is required to have an independent annual audit of the combined financial statements of the
County and related entities. Deloitte & Touche's agreement with the County is up for renewal for the time period of 1/25/24 - 1/24/25. This is the second renewal of a five year agreement with Deloitte & Touche for these external audit services.
This third amendment adds a new engagement letter to the agreement and adds settlement funds for additional services.
