Background and Discussion:
Harris County and the Houston Ship Channel Security District annually update their agreement to reflect the latest port security grants obtained by County offices and departments and the District's responsibility for providing financial matches for those grants. This is the twelfth such amendment. It was negotiated by the County's Port Grant Director Kenya Wilson and the County Attorney's Office, and has been approved by the CAO. On January 9, 2024, this amendment was adopted by the Ship Channel Security District Board of Directors.
