Background and Discussion:
The project is located in northwest Harris County in the Cypress Creek watershed, north of Cypress North Houston Road and west of North Eldridge Parkway. K500-01-00 Detention Basin Expansion project consists of expanding the existing wet bottom detention basin to provide the required amount of mitigation for the Cypress Creek Estates Subdivision project and Dowdell Woods Subdivision project located to south of the pond. Proposed improvements also include construction of Trail and Weir modification.
Expected Impact:
This project will provide mitigation volume for the Cypress Creek Estates subdivision and Dowdell Woods subdivision drainage improvements project. The fiscal impact for this project will come from the 3109 funding.
Alternative Options:
If no action is taken, the engineer of record will not be accessible for support through the construction of the project.
