Background and Discussion:
Precinct One would like to continue its current partnership with The Harris Center by providing support groups and health and wellness classes at Precinct One community centers. The Harris Center desires to expand its offerings in Precinct One by providing mobile wellness services.
Expected Impact:
Approval of the agreement will allow for the delivery of the following services to Precinct One residents:
* Mental health support groups and facilitators
* Health education classes
* Mobile wellness emotional and physical screenings, which may include preventative wellness exams and lab services, and blood pressure, diabetes and obesity screenings
* Health Fairs, Community and Neighborhood events
Alternative Options:
There is no suite of services comparable to those offered by The Harris Center readily available.
