Project Description:
Harris County Precinct 3, Road & Bridge division is pursuing funding for the procurement of two new GRADALL EXCAVATORS, as mentioned above, and a LEEBOY PAVER for supporting our work to build, pave, maintain and improve roads and ditches, and for various other needs such as general construction, storm cleanup, and roadside maintenance.
Project Scope:
The project includes specifying and purchasing the three pieces of road building equipment for the sum of $1,256,629. This price includes all charges associated with the equipment, including delivery.
Justification:
To properly and efficiently build and maintain the Harris County roads and ditches in Precinct 3, and to provide the public with safe roads; as well as to properly maintain ditches and thus reduce or eliminate flooding from rain events, Precinct 3 Road & Bridge division needs modern, efficient equipment suited for the task.
